About me

I heart dogs. My dog, your dog, all the dogs at the shelter I see every week, and everyone else’s dog. I think they’re amazing and awesome and fabulous. I’m pretty sure the world would be a better place if everyone would spend some quality time learning about life, the universe, and everything else from a dog or two.

I’m also the photographer for Family Dogs New Life. Back in the spring of 2005 I decided I wanted to do something bigger than me, that wasn’t about money, and that would make the world a happier place. I did adoption photos for the first time in June and the rest, as they say, is history.

Dogs have taught me a lot about life, the world, my work as an artist and even about being a better person. Having the opportunity to do the work I do, photographing and spending time with all these incredible animals, is rewarding in a way most people will never understand.
